Christmas Village in Philadelphia

Dates: November 28, 2019 – December 24, 2019

New Year’s Eve Fireworks

Time: 6 p.m. & 12 a.m

There’s no better way to ring in the new year than watching fireworks with family and friends in America’s birthplace! Philadelphia’s fireworks draw in thousands of people to hotspots all over the Delaware River Waterfront. Rivers Casino will have two fireworks displays at 6 p.m. and midnight. Philadelphians and visitors alike can enjoy them from several vantage points, including BlueCross RiverRink, Race Street Pier, Moshulu, Penn Treaty Park, and more!

Mummers Parade

Date: January 1, 2020

Time: 9 a.m. at 15th and Market St.

Regarded as the oldest folk festival in the nation, this unique parade is a celebration of the diverse community of the mummers. Parade-goers can expect lavish, elaborate costumes and performers to engage in a healthy dose of competition via captivating, outspoken displays. This collection of theatrical spectacles has truly earned its reputation as Philadelphia’s own Mardis Gras. The parade route will travel down Broad St. and end at Washington Ave.
